Black & Black was invited to re-imagine the JB Hudson brand along its entire customer journey, addressing the rapid changes happening in tech and retail. JB Hudson had been in business since 1885 and it’s core business was still in traditional brick-and-mortar retail. Black & Black helped them modernize the entire brand identity and create an effective new website to attract a younger demographic to the world of JB Hudson.

JB Hudson’s legacy website was built on Magento community and needed to be reimagined with regards to the design and functionalityduring the replatform to Shopify Plus. Using the new brand identity guidelines we had created for them, we completely redesigned the JB Hudson website. The new site was not only elevated to an aesthetic befitting a luxury brand retailer, we also leveraged our years of ecommerce UX/UI know how to create a frictionless shopping experience that ultimately performed much better across all key performance indicators.
